Holistic Dentistry, the latest.

Holistic Dentistry, we have the latest.

In Mario Garita MP Dental Experience we have been working with titanium implants for many years, we can finally offer our customers ceramic dental implants made out of zirconium (well known as holistic dentistry). Being able to offer these ceramic dental implants to our customers, we can now meet the rising demand for a holistic metal free dental solution.

What is zirconium?

Holistic Dentistry is based in Zirconium: atomic number 40, and standard atomic weight of 91.224Zirconium is a chemical element (Zirconium: atomic number 40, and standard atomic weight of 91.224). The name of “zirconium” comes from “zircon”, the mineral.  And zircon is the most important source of zirconium. Zirconium is lighter than steel, but just as strong and is particularly resistant to corrosion. Zirconium itself is a metal. But the zirconium dental implants are made out of crystallized forms that doesn’t act as a metal. That is why zirconium is thereby considered to be metal free.

Holistic Dentistry: What are the benefits of an implant made out of zirconium?

There are quite a few benefits to using an implants made out of zirconium. The first being that it is white in color and will not leave a metal aura around the gum line. Zirconium, a metal free and tissue friendly material, is considered to be a holistic approach in dentistry. It doesn’t function as a metal, so there are no electric currents between possible dissimilar metal in the mouth. It’s hypoallergenic and last but not least it’s corrosion resistant.
